I absolutely love yoga and have no doubt it will be part of my life forever. I first started practising yoga in 2000 when I dropped into one of Nigel Treloar’s classes at the Yoga Space on Ingham Road, I was hooked!
At first it was a purely physical practise, something that I would ‘make room’ for in between gym sessions, playing netball and dancing, as I grew as a yoga student, these other hobbies slowly became less important to me, and I can say now that yoga gives me so much more that I could have ever dreamed of, this is why it has become my favourite past time. I commenced my teacher training course at the Byron Yoga Centre in April 2011. I completed this course in August 2011 and I am now in an exciting part of my yogic journey, learning as much as I can about all aspects of yoga, as well as creating safe and interesting ways to teach yoga to my students so they too will benefit from this life transforming practice.
