Our children live in a high pressure, hurry-up world of busy parents, school schedules, competitive sports and constant media advertising.
 Yoga can help children learn skills and strategies to navigate through life's challenges with a little more ease, as they engage with a variety of techniques for relaxation, self-health and inner fulfillment.

Kids Yoga Club

The main focus at Kids Yoga Club is FUN!

Yoga at an early age encourages self-acceptance and body awareness with a physical activity that is non competitive. Fostering cooperation, compassion, empathy and resilience; yoga shares invaluable life-tools to support and nourish our children through life.

Each term explores a new theme and each yoga class teaches children how to explore the breath, balance, flexibility, strength, co-ordination and body alignment. Children also practice strategies for developing teamwork, trust, respect, friendship and gratitude. Lessons are taught with age appropriate teaching techniques such as story, song, rhythm, games and visualisation.

Teen Yoga

Teen yoga classes are designed specifically for teens and provide a supportive environment where young people can build strength, flexibility, confidence and inner peace.

Teen Yoga not only strengthens a teenager's physiological changes, but yoga also supports the emotional and hormonal changes which can bring confusion and stress.

Yoga builds mindful awareness, confidence, concentration, guides intuition, and teaches a multitude of relaxation techniques. Yoga also teaches us to explore ourselves with optimism and self-expression. Yoga is about giving, acceptance, respect for ourselves and others.

Each Teen Yoga term guides students through a journey of self study to learn ways to improve focus, expand awareness, de-stress and feel great!

Jasmine has been teaching children and teens for more than 20 years and is especially passionate about supporting young people with strategies that encourage healthy life choices, self acceptance, emotional resilience and intuition.

Yoga is a life support system that explores all of these areas and this is why Jasmine continues to share yoga programs for all ages in a variety of settings.
